Like others, I was first attracted to the posting because of the "17" plus "nose ring", wondering if others had rebellious daughters, too! Bray, your work is incredible! I particularly think the color, value contrasts, and composition are spot-on and exciting. Looking forward to the development of this work! Thanks for sharing!

Sorry the WIP is taking so long ... not enough time in a day anymore

Cyntada - Thanks!! The shadow on the ground is dark - but it will pale in comparison to the intake on the mig.
Artcat369 - Funny you mention rebellious daughters ... mine has grown out of hers (mostly) however, I was thinking about her when I came up with this title - Thanks for the kind words!! |

Oh, I almost missed this. Thanks for posting a WIP. I find it always interesting to see the process and I always enjoy seeing the painting emerge from the paper...

WOW--this is wonderful. My dad did aeronautical/aerospace technical
illustration, but not in watercolor! Don't know how you kept those red nose
edges so clean, but I'm just learning. It's fascinating watching you work.

I very much enjoyed the WIP, Mark. You are a very accomplished artist. I was sort of expecting an after shot of that tidy work area..LOL  . By the way, I see that you live right across the lake from me here in Lake Dallas, so we are more or less neighbors...J |
