Hello, everyone! This is my latest painting done on a 11.5 x 7 in. canvas. For this painting I used raw umber, burnt sienna, venetian red, genuine naples yellow light, yellow ochre, viridian, ultramarine blue and cremnitz white.

Comments and critiques are welcomed. Thanks for looking!!

José....Love it...appreciate it's a game but are those matches below the money? If so, what do the numbers mean....I realise I have managed to achieve a great age without knowing the rules of most card games!!

Re: 21

Hi, Deirdre! Thank you for your comments. The numbers on the paper is just an addition that will result in 21: 6+4+3+1+7=21. 21 is also repeated on the $20 dollar bill plus the two half dollar coins and on the cards: the Jack of hearts = 10 + the ace which equals 1 or 11, in this case is 11 to get the winning hand of 21.

Aha....so it's lined paper then...that explains it! Yes...my upbringing was sadly lacking in card games....my most exciting board game was cribbage - which my grandfather loved to play! When I was at home I mainly drew or painted....

Re: 21

I don´t know how to play too many card games myself, but I love to play some Spanish cards games..they´re so much fun. I also like to play board games like checkers and chinese checkers, I used to play them a lot when I was a kid. Now that I´m way over 21 I mostly draw or paint .

Re: 21

Hola, Daniel! Gracias for your comments. No, I´m not using Rublev oils, they´re quite expensive and cannot afford them. I wish, lol. The genuine naples yellow light I´m using is a Michael Harding 40ml tube that I bought in 2005 when they were very inexpensive compared to now: $23 the tube..now they´re sold for like $56! The Venetian red I´m using is also from Michael Harding. The other colors are from Daniel Smith: burnt sienna, yellow ochre, french ultramarine blue deep, Grumbacher: raw umber and viridian, and cremnitz white from Windsor and Newton.
