It's a bit more high key than the original but I still think it's lovely. However, the bright greens toward the rear seem to distract from the foreground trees but it's a very good rendition!

I would have to agree, you've done a great job of this.

Your tones are definitely brighter and more saturated whereas the original is more earthy and dulled.

But to be honest, I think they both look great, and they both have qualities of their own.

It is breathtaking. I love trees. I paint trees and just can't get the tree to pop out at me; A Tree that speaks and beckons me "Your trees do that for me. Beautiful. Lois marie

very good, it conveys the light superbly. btw, a caveat regarding comments of your version vs the original, (yours has more illumination/brightness but one would have to see the original, online photo reproductions can be off by several country miles vs the real original painting.
