Samson at 10 years old

Kittie, your work blows me away, I absolutely adore it. This one is no exception, so full of spirit and vitality! Colors just sing!! I hope you'll share more with us as it is so inspiring.

Thank you Brenda. This was a fun one, I was able to visit with him and take my own photos. Makes it easier I think.

Hey Ollie! Nope, this painting is watercolor only along with some detail lines of permanent ink. (pigma pens) I have a hard time resisting the fine lines. 
Thanks for the compliment on the website. I'm having fun when I'm not frustrated at not being a master already.

Ann, JP, Ellen, Jan and Robert: Thank you for your so-kind comments.
Samson is right around 10. He's so thin, for some reason he's not keeping his weight on, and so the intention was to capture a likeness while he's feeling good. What a wonderful dog. I love boxers!
Robert, I really enjoy the watercolors as they let me relax and stop planning everything like the oils make me do! Hope you're doing good! :-)
