the green in the background is a very nice colour however I think you need to knock it back a bit as its dominating the picture and taking the focus off your little cat cheers

Grace, I like the composition where the cat is not in the centre. I think Jacky is right, the background sea green is a little too dominant and needs to be knocked back by greying it a little. I feel that if you darkened the the barn(deeper tone on lighter side and a lot darker on shadow side) it would bring your little cat into focus more. This would be an easy correction without having to fiddle with the cat. All in all, with a few tweeks, this will be a really good one.

I just made the changes, I think it really improved it and you were right it did bring out the cat. Do you think so? Anything else you see??
