I know I commented on this before, but since then this cat has passed away and is dearly missed. It gave me pleasure to pass this painting on to my daughter who really is so pleased to have it as a tribute to her cat. I hope you don't mind Bluemoonstar.
Of course I don't mind - I'm glad it reminds her of her cat - he was such a handsome boy!

Re: Project Discussion: Pet Portrait Exchange

I think there is something that an artistic portrait does, that a photo cannot.

Re: Project Discussion: Pet Portrait Exchange

Thank you so much Eileen! I love the portrait of Hawk you did for me. I actually have yours sketched out. I have several in progress. I promise everyone who hasn't received a portrait from me yet, that I WILL finish this project! It has been so much fun and I treasure every card I have received.

Re: Project Discussion: Pet Portrait Exchange

I'm glad folks are posting again. You all inspired me to get my references out again and got a number of them sketched out. At this point I'm not really certain who they belong to, but no matter, I'm certain they will find their way home.

Re: Project Discussion: Pet Portrait Exchange

Thanks Catherine! They are both 4x6, oil pastel on UART 500 sanded paper. Hmm, I wish I could help you with your photo upload problem, but I am not very tech savvy.
