Pthalo Turoqoise and Pink

Hi WC Pals

These were painted over a month ago, when spring first hit. It was early this year, and I had a good chunk of time set aside just to paint.

12x12" It poured rain on me for the last 15 minutes of this painting, but I put up an umbrella and stuck it out. That was a bad idea, because my easel swelled and became extremely hard to use for the next week.

C&C is always welcome when you see my work. Is there a passage that works well, or should have been scraped in any of these?

I really enjoy your shape-making, Kyle. Large shapes, small shapes, all placed together like a dynamic puzzle.
Crits? Well, not really a criticism- while I love the saturated colour, in the past you've occasionally dabbled with dirtier earth tones amid the cleaner colours. I thought it made for interesting contrast and would love to see you try that again. Just a thought, but I love these as they are.

The first and second speak to me. I love that crazy pink octopus shape in the second works great with those greens - 24 x 20" big!

I'm a little confused by the last one. The light colors in the tree seem too light for a grey day? Not sure? Those flowering trees appear very bright even on cloudy days.

Tried darkening the lights but I don't think I helped it.
