Like the organic flow to this one. The circles are amazing and the way the paint seems to flow around them, wonderful. The touch of purple/blue in the lower right, brilliant.

Thanks for the comments.
I should have said more. The six circles are 3/8" to 5/8" thick acrylic cast in layers and then adhered to the panel prior to painting the rest of the piece.

I do not think that anyone
can read too much when they are young.
And it is clear green eggs and ham
made me the reader that I am.
You may have noted from the title
rhythm is completely vital
to the way it was created
and how the sound initiated.
(There is an inside reference for the title of this piece. "Bum-pa-dum" is the "word" my wife and I use for a triple step when we teach the swing
to men in our social dance classes. It helps the right brain just do the movement, rather than freeze up by thinking about all of the individual steps)

I'm afraid Raimie that it is already at the gallery for a fundraiser/sale coming up soon. If it doesn't sell, I'll get that side shot.
I'll have to do some WIP shots on a future piece. I've been wanting to kick start my blog again, but haven't found the time just yet.
