Hey Washers,
Got behind in reading washes and then never caught up until now. Think I read everything. Not sure I can remember anything.
My life sort of jumped into chaos for a couple of weeks. Nothing terrible, but you know, make plans and You Know Who laughs. I did get my permanent crown. I did get some things fixed in my apartment, so that's good.
On the downside I was hoping to see a friend this weekend who was flying out from Michigan, but she has MS and she had a bad attack and had to cancel her trip.

I feel so bad for her. She described an attack, and it sounds just horrible.
So Thursday I called up to get my car taken care of which I was going to hold off on until next week. I was driving down the street a couple of months ago and something hit the windshield. Didn't even see it. But later I came out to my car after parking it in bright sunshine, and there was a crack starting up the glass. I noticed it only traveled up when the windshield was sitting in hot sun, and since the weather is about to get a lot hotter and sunnier (hopefully?!!?!?) I thought I better get it taken care of. I also had a broken tail light that needed replacing.
And since I wouldn't have a car Friday, I decided to make a gluten free version of a Lulu Loaf and make some jewelry. The Lulu Loaves didn't come out quite right, so I'm going to try tweaking some things the next time round. The jewelry went much better.
Darla have you ever thought about writing to This Old House? Then if they picked your kitchen you really wouldn't have to appear on camera except to ooh and aahh afterward. Sometimes the owners never appear. Boy do they do amazing remodels. And you don't pay.
Annie and Uschi I tried many times to get some kind of rudbeckias to grow in my mother's garden. They always died. Guess I may have gotten lucky, huh? On the other hand I tried forget-me-knots and I never stopped kicking myself for that one. They are the worst! That and the pink clover ground cover my mother put in.

A never ending battle on both.
Happy birthday to Tony belatedly. I've only been to Oxford. Did a summer course there. I hope to see Cambridge one day.

Doug. Tell Ruth that is one gorgeous sweater! Lucky Henry.
Henry I hope they are able to help your wife.
Geoff I hope you can get more sleep. Do you sleep better when you are off caravanning? Or haven't you noticed?
JJ I hope you find your other shoe!

Winnie and Pat. Bummer.
Char your students are so lucky. I hope you get your hip sorted.
Bill how did the mushrooms taste? Someone gave my mother one of those as a gift and it never sprouted.
Reikiart happy birthday to your son.
Judy tell your SIL that studies have shown that music helps kids do better in school. Music is mathematical. By the way, did you know that many musicians are amateur mathematicians and most mathematicians tend to play an instrument? So there.
Which reminds me I must practice for two singing auditions. And, yes, I was exceptionally good in math!
Gail glad your back is getting better. Your pond is looking wonderful.
Sylvia congrats on being juried in at the show. Good luck with your peony.

to everyone I haven't mentioned and all who are on the way.
Kay
