WDE 4/5th May Images Here!!
I will be posting 16 (or fewer) images and a challenge, if I can think of one!!
Please wait until all are uploaded before commenting - thank you.
You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials - you may use any medium.
For the next two hours, just go for it……then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in your own new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.
When you introduce your work, please add a description of size, medium, support (paper, canvas etc) and time taken.
If your work is digital, we'd appreciate a description of whether it's freehand drawing/painting, manipulated image or done using the filters available in some programmes - you could also say which programme you've used.
All are acceptable but we'd like to know the "hows, whys and wherefores"!!
Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Monday.
NB. To avoid forum flooding, please put all of your work during the weekend, for the current WDE, into a single thread: multiple threads will be merged!
From the following TUESDAY, you may open a new thread for later work.
You have the whole week to participate - until the next WDE starts (usually Friday). If you finish a piece after that time, we now run a 'Catch-up' thread in the forum each month where you can post any WDE not completed in its allotted week .... it's a sticky near the top of the forum page.
After posting your contribution, please view others’ entries and comment and encourage when you can. Unless requested, please refrain from critiquing.

Re: WDE 4/5th May Images Here!!
Right that is enough animals! Onto some random images!
Now I found this toilet such a shock and a laughable thing I just had to take a picture, hehehehe! Bigger image (if you dare) http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
Random drinks on a night out. Bigger image http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
This is Holkham Hall Triumphal Arch. I live within 5 miles of Holkham hall so one day I just took me off on a walk to this. It looks like an old gatehouse but my memory has faded and can't remember what it said. But I do know it is now used as holiday homes. Bigger image http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
A lovely woodland scene near Holkham again, taken in autumn. Bigger image http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
Also seen on the same walk, some woodland fungi. Bigger image http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
Holkham beach and my daughter. Bigger image http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
A view to the beach, from a walk less than a mile from my home. Bigger imagehttp://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/showphoto.php?photo=150092&ppuser=985781
A bright sunset from my backgarden. Bigger image http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/show...&ppuser=985781
Right now have some fun with my pictures and my challenge is to try something out of your comfort zone. If you daren't, never have done a, etc.... give something new a go!!
Can't wait to see what you all do

Re: WDE 4/5th May Images Here!!
Thanks for posting early. Such great contrast between the first batch of photos (dogs and other creatures) that are close-up and "in your face", compared to the beautiful scenery in the second batch. Great selection overall!

You are a wonderful photographer, Annie! I'm going to try to make it, but it's bordering on iffy, since I may have to work. Thanks for hosting!!

Re: WDE 4/5th May Images Here!!
Great refs! So many animals to choose from - all your pets are gorgeous!!!!
I have an extremely busy weekend. I'm presenting on radio from a live Battyle of The Bands on Saturday - on air from 7pm.... you can tune in on line if you like
If you would like to hear me live on air - on this Saturday night I am presenting 'Battle of The Bands - Live' from the event starting at 7pm BST. Go to www.ankerradio.co.uk and click on the 'Listen Live' button.
If you go to that website you can hear me in action!!!!!!
I think it will be afternoon for you guys in the US
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...ds+Live+presen ted+by+Lin+Goodwin&iso=20120505T19&p1=1318
I'm so excited. People have been asking for years if they could listen on line and we couldn't we are using this event as an experiment. There will be 8 acts performing for the prize of a professional photo shoot with promo material. It's live at the club but I'm doing the radio broadcast. will be a long night 7pm until the end which will probably be almost midnight. i dont' do crowds well but i'll be out of the way with the sound engineer.
i was really poorly yesterday and had to sty in bed - I'm better for it today but I need to be careful. I'll do something, I'll make a start but might be Monday before I post as I'm expecting to be useless on sunday as I have CFS/ME and will have my 'payback' no doubt.

Gorgeous images! You live in a beautiful area.
I'm already 2 WDEs (and 2 Landscape Challenges from my other forum) behind, but I'm hoping to start catching up this week.

Love your photos Annie, especially the animals. Those snakes are fascinating but a little scary for me. Enjoy your week.
