Rolling Stones - Still Rock

HI: This is a drawing I did several years ago which I have revisited. Made some minor adjustments by enhancing the contrast. Graphite on A3 size paper. Comments welcomed. Cheers Glen.

Re: Rolling Stones - Still Rock

I remember these guys when they were barely adults .. and they've been around for nearly my entire life. At the rate they're going .. they'll outlive me .. and still be rockin.

Good job!

Good gracious me, Glen. The work in that and detail. Do you dream of your the subjects you draw, with all that detail?

Great work!!

Bless you. IRma

Sorry, I just have to add this P.S. I thought of it as I was signing off... ha ha ha
Since they are called the *Rolling Stones* and that means they keep moving, when they die, will they be referred to as *the stones*, then? Just wondering... since the *rolling* ... well......

Re: Rolling Stones - Still Rock

Hi: Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated.
Irma: Couldn't resist the temptation to have a go at this drawing when I saw all the lines in the reference photo. Not sure what happens when the Stones stop rolling that is if they ever stop.
Thanks for having a look. Cheers Glen.

Re: Rolling Stones - Still Rock

I read an interview with Kieth Richards once where he was asked how he remembered the notes to all the songs they did. He said he didn't, but when he got on stage his fingers somehow knew what to do. Thanks for this memory lane piece!
