Pauls News

This is a painting of an old local new stand that is still in business for over 70 years? I posted an older painting of this same subject a while back in another forum. It was bigger and in a different composition. I wanted to visit the subject again because I wanted to approach it in a different way, plus I plan to put it up in our small local restaurant along with other smaller paintings.

Thanks for visit!

Wow, Justin, your townscapes really rock! I love the loose brushwork coupled with the element of line. The figures, shadows, buildings and cars all are handled extremely well. I'm sure you'll have no problem selling your work!

I agree, lovely juxtaposition between the loose and the detail.

Great job! I like how just the people and the news stand have the ink lines.

Love this Justin; nice action and movement around the painting for the eye to travel. I agree with Kay, you'll have no trouble selling your paintings.
