Stoughton Square WIP

I needed a break from the cars so I started this painting that I have wanted to do for over a year. Ultimately it will be a panoramic view of the center of the town I grew up in. The size is 7.75"x2" and is modified acrylic on titanium. This one will take me a while but I am just happy to finally have some paint down on it!

Re: Stoughton Square WIP

Thanks everyone. I am looking forward to picking at it around the other jobs however, I would really just love to dig into it and burn on it until it's finished. Keeping the lights on and food in the fridge has convinced me to stick with Plan A.

You are really gifted at doing very small details in your space. Don't forget to post more WIPs of this one. Kurlie 8-)

Re: Stoughton Square WIP

Thanks Kurlie!

So I feel a little guilty. I cheated time away from some of the things that I really should have been doing to work on the things I wanted to work on. Namely this painting. I covered a little bit more but it is coming along pretty solidly. Back to reality tomorrow!

That is coming along nicely. I like your street lights, I can never make them look proper.

Re: Stoughton Square WIP

Here is a shot of the chuch all set, the overall progress and finally the start of the Historical Society building. For this last building on the right, I have been recording video as I work on it so hopefully I'll be able to weave it into some remotely coherent how to. No promises though

Thank you all for your comments, feedback from this group means the world to me seeing that you all share this same little obsession

Re: Stoughton Square WIP

Unfortunately (or fortunately from a business standpoint) some other jobs pushed this painting to the back of the bench. The past few days though have opened up and I have really gotten a chance to dig into this. On target to hopefully done in a few days! We will see though

As always, thanks for taking a look!!
