Hokusai - One of the Greats - May 2012
Hokusai is a very well known Japanese artist.

I hope you will take this opportunity to study some of his work. Make a copy , imitate his techinques, or just enjoy reading about and viewing his work.

One thing that comes across loud and clear is his love of artist creation and life forms. AND he studied everything!!!

Hope we can do a few things inspired by this world class artist.

here are a couple diddles in this direction - I learn alot from copy Hokusai - design , technique and beauty . I like the feeling copying him gives.

im trying to do the sea painting....with a wide pen, and markers....hmmm....will see....tyree

I love your studies Robin, especially the umbrellas!!. I haven't looked much at Hokusai but I am inspired to look more. I agree -clean and beautiful design.
