Hi all,
As a (new) member, I do not wish to offend anyone; so i am hoping to get some heads up info about posting explicit nude male images which I have created. These images are based on self-shot photos which I have manipulated using various digital editing techniques. Although I feel these images are visually erotic, I do not believe they are pornographic.

My worry is that others may not feel the same way. I looked at the list of gallery categories available but none seem to be appropriate for such images. Could I get some guidelines about exactly where to post them?

I have been a frustrated artist almost as long as I can remember. I had some skills but no training, no innate abilities, and little gratification in my attempts. Digital photography and digital editing tools have allowed me to express the artistic side of me more than any medium I have ever experimented with. I never considered self-shot nude photos as an artistic subject matter, but that is what has happened, lol.

I get to play with photography, I get to be artistic, and I get the excitement of a digital form of exhibitionism. Now I am experimenting with sharing these images with others. I hope to get some honest reactions to the art itself and to the concept of artistic male nudity in general.

Any and all comments will be appreciated.

Here's an excerpt from the Member Agreement.

j. Erotic Art and Pornography: Posting your own erotic art is permitted in this community, provided that it is properly designated as erotic art and that it is not pornographic. With regard to the suitability of a post on this web site, F+W determines, in its sole discretion, whether a particular piece of art falls into the erotic or pornographic category. As a general guideline, valid erotic entries include nudes, studies of the human form, and works displaying sexual activities as long as the art is tasteful and does not illustrate physical penetration. You must designate a particular post as erotic by tagging it with the special icon provided for erotic art posts ( image_1 ).

The judgement will be made by the moderator of the forum as to the suitability of any image.

WC has a Figure Forum which is most likely the Forum for you. However, as Yorky has already mentioned, it is up to the Moderator of the Forum to discern if an image is within the F+W terms of service as cited in the User Agreement

The (image_1) is a little butt in case you were confused. It's in the tray under the post writing space when you are starting a new post, just check it off and it'll appear.

Excellent guidance concerning the user agreement.

Simply consider the medium & subject matter in choosing the forum and remember the "butt" icon and you should do fine.
