Re: Josefina...do what I say but not what I do
Hey Sister Pencil aka Luicre ~
 how you doing?
I am sorry I have not commented before now but have been busy or rushed for time, when I have checked in.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I think you have a beautiful model, here.
And I think you have done great work on the drawing.
The hatching under the chin was a distraction to me, but that was mentioned.
And I thought you weren't done, so the comments have been made by the *pros* for correction.
Personally, I liked the idea of some white chalk for high lights on tone paper. I will check back and look forward to your updates.
Blessings to you dear friend. IRma

Thank you, Irma!!. I have taken a rest from the work because I have been so many hours looking at it and the ref, so the updates are going to last a little bit....You are so kind my dear friend.

Luicre, it's a very lovely portrait. I've only just seen it, as I've been on holiday, but something jumped out at me! Her eyebrow hairs, to my mind, are growing in the wrong direction. Perhaps I'm wrong, in which case I apologise.

Thank you, Angi! You could be right. I have done and redone her eyebrows `s hair and maybe I have done it wrong. Thank you very much for the comment.

Awesome drawing, Luicre. This might be your best yet, in my eyes. Close up shots like this are a challenge, any mistakes get magnified a lot. You took this challenge and did well

This is breathtaking... Luicre. The best I've seen from you so far. I'll not say a lot... the others have said it all, already. Time for me to stand back and slowly clap my hands

Re: Josefina...do what I say but not what I do
Wow"!. Thank you!!!. I was not expecting such a good comments again.
Kirant, thank you. It has been quite a challenge, indeed.
Prosenjit I feel humble by your comments!!
Gerri, the blue paper has been a nigthmare at the beginning until I figured out how to work with that tone, and with that texture...
Michael I think it´s Bushmills....but I am also lately missing a lot of things and even my thoughts are...how to say that.... untidy? . I say it´s because work´s stress...
I should update this drawing because I think I have improved it a bit..
Thank you very much dear friends, it has been great to see that thread again and your good comments have made my day...
Saludos

Re: Josefina...do what I say but not what I do
Luicre,
I think this drawing is beautiful! Very soft and serene...and I actually like the bluish cast the paper color gives it!

Re: Josefina...do what I say but not what I do
Thank you, Sean. This blue paper has a hidden mistery....I love watching old and actual drawings on blue paper but I have yet not discovered the clue. Prud`honn made fantastic works on blue paper but his technique was quite complicated.
Thank you for the kind words.
