Male and Female Common Kestrel

This piece is on 18X24 stretched canvas . For some reason the blue of the sky in this photo is not quiet the same as the blue I painted it but its close enough. It can be frustrating taking photos of your work .....sometimes more so than the act of painting itself !

Very nice work! I know how frustrating sometimes when taking pics one or two colors' shade is off; however, there's solace knowing that if the viewers have not seen the original, they won't know the difference.

I think this is particularly lovely, Keith. I really enjoy your delicate touch with the brush. Brave work on the background - really contrasts and brings the birds into sharp focus.
