Cardoon

This is a 6.5" x 4.5" watercolour of a cardoon, on Arches 140 lb. rough, using Winsor & Newton Antwerp blue, permanent rose, new gamboge, and cobalt blue. Comments and critique welcomed.

I didn't know what a Cardoon was either but didn't stop me one bit from appreciating the play of light and wonderful painting..nicely done!!!
