Eye/Windows
Our local art group puts on a show each summer, and this summer's theme is "windows" I thought, eyes are the windows to the soul, I think this will be my piece to display. it is Prismacolors on Mat board.. I must say, i am REALLY enjoying colored pencils.

Re: Eye/Windows
I myself am a little on the scared side to try skin tones, So I think you have done well, I like how you have done the eye lashes and hope you enjoy the show.

Re: Eye/Windows
Have we seen a version of this before Mary? I really like your finished piece . Is it on coloured paper? I really like the greens you have used for the iris and your concept is great too.
That reflection really draws you in and I love that you have put a recognisable scene in it.
What has you stumped Mary? I'm not sure I understand? Do you mean that you had the artists version of writers block once you got to your studio? I have had that happen too me alot - try just setting yourself a simple object to sketch, like an apple. It might get you going again....

Re: Eye/Windows
A very creative interpretation of the theme! And I like this version even better than the previous.
