First, I just want to say thank you for the nice comment.
A monotype print is a one of a kind image printed from an inked sheet of plexiglas. Technically, this would be considered a collagraph monoprint since other materials including cheese cloth and crumpled aluminum foil were added to the surface of the plexiglas to create the textures and the entire relief surface was inked and then transferred to a sheet of rice paper. The girl's image was then drawn with a Micron pen on to the print.

Wow.... really cool! I like the "mixed media" effect! Really creative.

Re: Can't Look Back
This is one of those times when viewing something on a monitor just isn't sufficient.
I can sense this is sensational IRL. Wish I was there.
She has that "Texas Girl" look, you captured it well... actually, you captured it perfectly!
Thanx 4 posting, this pleaseth our eye, Greg.

Thanks Greg, for the positive feedback and support. I also see a lot of magnificent work in this forum (and other forums) that I'm sure the computer just doesn't do justice to. But thanks again for the great compliment! And, yes, she is definately a Texas girl.

Re: Can't Look Back
Love the combinations of textures, negative spaces and the highlights left unsaid. Very appealing work.
