Per some past remarks, I did unload numerous easel/boxes this '12yr, my ol' SolTek, a Sienna, two EZLs', a GP "cigar box" and misc stuff.. The used Plein Air market via CraigsList seems a decent one, I garnered over $700 cash for all the above, plus odds & ends. I did get a 10x12" Open Box M "palette/panel holder", these being still readily available. Their ol' wood cover boxes are no longer available (Pelicans sold instead), wouldn't want either of those anyway as my lightweight pochade fits readily in the laptop pocket of my new $18- Costco backpack! While the OpenBoxM design has been around since the late '80s', there's ALOT to be said for a product that works TOTALLY!! BTW, there's some very simple logic here .. OpenMBoxes only hold paint and little else.. Your brushes and other gear go in your backpack, hence, a VERY light tripod is all one needs!.. Total weight is minimal and my box only weighs 1.75lbs raw. I was able to get a decent deal on a package including their brush, drink & towel holders along with some hooks. A very high quality U.S. product worth every $.01 paid, I continue to enjoy this new set-up, not looking for anything else (for once) and my ol' back thanks me every outing!

PS - I appreciated the + comments of several WC OpenMBox users who convinced me....
