Re: Daily Painting - May 2012

Hi Folks, I missed posting the thread as usual on Sunday night in the UK due to work committments. When playing catch up today I thought it would be a good time to switch to a monthly thread. I hope this suits.
Best wishes
Gary

Re: Daily Painting - May 2012

Great idea, Gary. I like the idea of it being a monthly thread - easier to find and art doesn't vanish as quickly.

So here I go - late start this month...

A Page of Little Ari Drawings
Pitt Artist Pen (black brush tip) on Lanaquarelle 100% rag watercolor paper.
Every one of these is from life. Ari posed for me last night, always adorable.

Purr thank you! Wow! Your WDE line drawings are so awesome the way you combine the images in such interesting ways. Great cat! Beautiful life paintings too.

Today I did one of the images from the May Pastel Spotlight challenge.

Okay, today's is just a drawing. But today isn't over either, once I rest I'll see if I'm up to painting.

Thanks, Robert. The May Pastel flower glows, and I like your middle apple.

These are from the May 11 WDE:

Re: Daily Painting - May 2012

Hi just found this thread again- I've posted some of these in Abs/Con but I have been painting a series of these using only white and one other color - one every day for the past few days. The last one I used three colors.
