Re: B&W kitty WIP

Very nicely done! I have a Tuxedo cat I need to do this with. As for cleaning up black - I've done a couple of drawings using Artagain Black paper, and I've also used tape to clean it up. I use a big makeup brush to brush away the dust, I tried my electric eraser, but it left marks. In the end what I couldn't get off with the tape and brush, I colored over with Prisma black. I have found I really enjoy working on black, I really like the effect.

Oh! I really love how you have focused all the viewers attention on his/her wonderful expression . It looks fantastic and I really like your limited pallette it helps to further focus the eye on the cats eyes.

One little suggestion -I think the left nostril(viewers left) needs dropping down a touch. Its a little high given the angle of the cats head. Otherwise I would call it a comlpete success .

I am so tempted to have a go on a Black ground, thank you for sharing yours it tempts me even more .

Beautiful; Ali's suggestion on the nostril would make it even more beautiful.
