I've finally finished my big project of wooden homemade mahjong.
My first real wooden project.
It all started by purchasing two 2 meters long spruce "poles", which my father has masterfully cut by some powerful machine in his work into ~200 blocks as seen here:
I've polished them:
With color pencils drew the mahjong game symbols on them:
And the worst part, applied the water based lacquer. (In the middle of work it began to snow actually, which resulted in rather quick and erratic rescue mission).
I've had strength (and time, as I had to do it elsewhere then I normally resides) to apply only one lacquer layer to preserve the color pencils actually. 144 blocks are really time consuming.
