Re: Weekly Drawing Thread~April 30-May 6
I look forward to seeing them Karen. Just go back and find that weekly drawing and post your drawing to it. It will bring it back to the first page, so we can all see it! Yippee!!

Re: Weekly Drawing Thread~April 30-May 6
Just did a quick reaction sketch of the great dane. Loved the shadows and the faraway look so I couldn't resist. Unfortunately I am having a whole host of health problems and had to do this in an odd position laying in bed. I was not going for photorealism here, not looking to have every hair/shadow represented exactly where it is in the photo - just an interpretation if you will. I did him in my Daler Rowney sketch book which is pretty "toothy" and if I remember correctly I think I did it with a "B". Was sort of out of it on meds so not sure of that one.

John, this is absolutely lovely! You captured that "regal" look that he has so well...

This is lovely, John!
Must definitely do one of these - maybe the owl!

You have done a very good job Nomore. I love the glow of the owl's eyes and the way you drew the dog's ears!

Hi Kate! I am sorry you are not well and hope you get better soon. The dog is very nicely drawn. I really like the nose especially!
