Re: Monkeys

Sandra, it is a watercolour on water colour paper and is about 17 x 24cm. He was so pensive that I was able to sneak up on him for the picture! Thank you for your kind comment.

Re: Monkeys

I am loving all the monkeys!

Janet, your collage monkey pair are delightful. Playful monkeys. I really like this media.

Sandra, I love the ink work. The chinese brush monkey is great...and also the others are wonderfully expressive. Especially the eye studies.

Eileen, your watercolour portrait is gorgeous. The brushstrokes describe his/her coat so well.

Thanks for joining in everyone.

Re: Monkeys

Like all your monkeys, Sandras. The monkey king is great, but my favorites are the last batch...so expressive with so few strokes.

Re: Monkeys

Robin, your monkeys are all so very alert. Good use of inktense pencils.

Susan, now that's really classical art! Frida all the way with companions. Love the choice of colors and lighting on the monkey.

Re: Monkeys

Wonderful work!

I love those soft Chinese style monkeys Sandra and the ink line just defines the features beautifully.

The little monkeys in a group are a delight Robin. Its good to draw a bunch of them together as they are such gregarious creatures. Suits them!

Tyree, the Frida painting is really lovely...especially the absorbed little monkey.

I love all the monkey work!! Seems we all had fun with these guys.
