Thanks to gcooper for the reference photo of Gabrielle. I took liberties

On mi-tients Tex which is sort of like drawing on sandpaper.

She's probably around 8 x 10 but she's on a bigger sheet so I don't know exactly.

Hey this is cool!... I am just watching Lord of the rings with my youngest and doing some web surfing...came a cross this .. Ihave Liv Tyler on the TV and this on the computer..this little gal could be an elf princess herself..wonderful drawing!

Wonderful detail in that movie. The clasps that they use to hold the elves cloaks closed are beautiful and I want one!

Eliza, just below the upper eyelid, there is usually a shadow FROM the eyelid. I would add that in here and lower the catch lights on her eyes. And perhaps go a bit darker on the shadow...left side of neck.

It's truly lovely, in any case.

Nice, delicate work at this small size! Canson Mi-Tientes (smooth side) is my paper of choice for fast work in pastel-
