Re: WIP-help appreciated

There are some lovely passages in this. My only criticism would be that there is maybe too much pink.

I see a figure in a yellow dress!

Re: WIP-help appreciated

WilsonArt..."sensory overload"...yep that sounds about right.
Jane.......... you may be right, I will have another look, I did finish it early this morning though, see below.
Dave........
tpurnick.... for some reason I always forget that...will remember in future
graphicali.. yes its very pink.

I finished it this morning and this is what I did for those that are interested:-

Covered up the block of pink at the very bottom of the canvass by pulling down more of the yellow that was above the pink.
Tried to hide the two very dark circles that were slightly kissing. Changed the small off centre white circle to pink/orange
Changed the large white circle at the top of the canvass, with a mix of colour.
Tried to define a few more edges, everything had a floating look.
I pulled a dark wash over the bottom left hand corner to subdue the bright blue, as this area was jumping out a lot...I also put the wash in other areas, as I felt it was very pink.
I decided to introduce more green.

As it stands now I am fairly happy with it...the only thing that I think is not correct now is the top circle that was white...I will look at this for a day or two before changing it. (I only saw this when I looked at the photo)

Re: WIP-help appreciated

Katie, the finished version is wonderful. I could see a very good start with the first one you posted but felt somehow it wasn't very well defined due to so much of that pink. You must have done all the right things! Good on you.

Re: WIP-help appreciated

I like the colors, especially in upper left hand corner. Maybe if the middle area of the painting were blended together a bit more, but the more I look at this the more I don't see anything wrong with it in my eyes.
