Acrylic and calcite??

Anyone ever tried using Calcite to add body to Acrylic? I know this works with Oils and old masters would do this to add transparency...just wondered it the anyone had tried it with acrylics??

I have never even heard of this with acrylics. Why not give it a workout and then report back.
