Can you experts help me with this? There's not much about it that I like. What should I do to improve it? Or, should I just dump it and start over!!

Is this watercolor? It think it's quite good. You could bump up the shadows which will emphasize the lights if you want.

It is very nice as it is but if this is a watercolor and you would like some help, why not post this in the Studio in the Watercolor Forum, you would get lots of tips from the folks over there.
