Spring in Toronto

Here are a couple of recent PA. I am really starting to like the spring. The season of active painting finally has begun.

I like both of these, nicely understated.

Wow, both beautifully done. The water in the first is perfect and the light in the second just sets the scene.

Thanks for sharing.

Both are lovely. Very nice use of paper and your colors are bold and striking. Love them both a whole lot.

Re: Spring in Toronto

You've captured the day in both. The rocks are my favorite. Just enough sparkle.

Those little bits of light, on the water and the leaves, are just magical! Love them both

Re: Spring in Toronto

Both paintings have that springtime look to them. Maybe it's the lighting and the kind of green you used in them, even in the first one?

Lovely work, Dalibor. Really interesting shapes in the first. Fine light in both.

Re: Spring in Toronto

What a treat to see your wonderful work today, Dado!!! I love them both---wonderful usage of the paper, values are spot on---and the light really comes thru in both. I have also been trying to get out there, and will partispate in another of the Marklleevile, Ca's Plein-air week sponsered by the little gallery there. We do get some nice painters, and I wish you could come. In the meanwhile, keep painting these wonderful PA's, they really show that you love to paint!!!
