Thank you for all of the wonderful replies. And yes...I admit it, I am now addicted. (is there a scratch board art anonymous? )
Started another of Beulah-May, and one of a calf, too. Unfortunately, I have discovered that "scratching while tired" does not work very well. And, by the time I can sit and do some scratching, I am too tired these days, as on the farm, this is our busiest time of the year, with all of the chores that go with our lifestyle.
I hate rainy days, but have been secretly hoping for one just so I can take a day off from farm work and scratch.
I cannot wait for my order to arrive from Blick-(unfortunately, it got lost during shipping.) so that I can varnish the Beulah-May one, and maybe start experimenting with some color, as I ordered the ink set too.
Thanks again. I sure do love seeing everyone's beautiful scratches! Can't wait to have a block of time to work on mine some more.
