Re: EP's 2012 Plein Aires
I too like the rock on #78. Get some rest.

Every batch of painters just gets better by leaps and bounds. Love the stone lantern, what do you mean failure on the closeup of the totem, I think it is too cool.

I love your use of color. It's like a parallel universe, everything looks familiar but much brighter and more colorful.
Very Refreshing!

EP, these are really nice plein aires. Are they the campus of some college? The totem poles are neat.

EP - You are doing such a great job on these. I really like the ones of the totems...nice texture in the carvings. Keep it up!

Re: EP's 2012 Plein Aires
#83 I like this one. It's simple yet the building is complicated.
#83b I did not like how this turned out. I'm calling it 83b because I did it the same time and in the same spot as #83.
#84 This was a view from beyond a concrete covered area.

#85
#86 I tried to tackle the tree and foliage effect again and, well, more practice needed.
#87 I like how this turned out. Loved all the trees.

Wow, only a baker's dozen more to go. These are so bright and colorful. They are all delightful.

I really like #83 too. How exciting to be nearing your number. Another series in the offing?

Re: EP's 2012 Plein Aires
Debby and Margo - thank you.
I might try to do people next. But those will be much less detailed, I predict, unless I find lots of people immobile in front of their computers. And even then I may only get the rear/side view.

Re: EP's 2012 Plein Aires
Yay it worked to reply to my thread! Yesterday it was unhappy with me. I had typed out a comment and when I copy/paste it here the system says "forbidden". So now I'll try typing it in longhand.
Nope that didn't work either. Boo.
