WDE 04/20/2012 Late to my own WDE Cityscape

I finally got a chance to sit down and do this last night. Had unexpected visitors over the weekend. Pleasant surprise. My daughter and husband came down with my 2 Grandsons. Plenty of time spent on slides, swings and climbing walls. They will keep me young.

12X12 Watercolor on 300 lb something press paper. I think I may need to work on it a little more.......

At the 2 hour point.

About one more hour.

I love it! The abstract quality combined with all my favorite colors makes it a winner! (BTW, my definition of "late" is two calendar years after the fact.)

That image was daunting to say the least... excellent rendition, simplification and sense of space.

I looked at that one and decided it was too hard - you've done it beautifully!

Grand children are great, aren't they? They keep you smiling.

Good job on a difficult view point! Just enough detail to let one know what it is and not so much to define the exact spot. I like it.. Kurlie 8-)
