Re: Ropers (working title) a WIP

I think it seriously needs a frame.

I just HATE backgrounds. This one has the same problem as my last oil. It looked so good in the sketch and I figured I would fix it with texture...I still can, but it might need a little reality to set it on the ground....

BUT for now it is resting on its laurels. Thanks for looking. I did literally wake up and paint and go to sleep and wake up and paint for a couple of days.

I might try one more 1/4 page from the same gang.

This is a grandpa and grand kid who were posing for me through a friend. His sister is the little girl I just finished in the same black hat. 6 and 4 years old!!!
Grandpa was doing some amazing tricks with that rope! And this image (a very little bit re arranged and probably not quite enough) just jumped out of me in the photos I took.

It was living in my brain for a while so I had to let it out!

Simply wonderful work! I love the body language, the expressions and of course, how well you paint.

A quote from my old hippy days... "Wow! Far OUT Dudette"

I'm enjoying seeing you working in colors. Beautifully painted!

Deb, incredible work, as usual. However, I think this is a real award-winner, for sure!
