April Blooms
My lilies are fading fast, so I've had to paint fast. Hopefully this is getting close to the finish line. What do you think? Don't go....First c & c. Thanks.

Re: April Blooms
What medium are you using?
I like your painting of the flowers.

Re: April Blooms
Hi, I really like this, seems very fresh and spontaneous. I don't know what more I would do to this painting. It seems just right.

Re: April Blooms
Grace, IMHO, there are some hard lines near some of the leaves on both sides and my eye goes there. I would like a light hole above the right flower facing us so that the feel of 3-D is there like the rest of the painting. Love the scene!

Re: April Blooms
Hi, Katherine, I see what you mean about the hole, but the leaves, I'm not sure which ones should be hard lines and which ones not. Someone, had commented before that there wasn't enough detail in the leaves but I think I may have taken that a bit to far as you commented on.

Re: April Blooms
Did you post this in Acrylics too Grace? - I'm sure I commented!
I'm glad you altered the ellipse on the bottom of the pot!
I think you've turned this into a very worthy painting - the hard edged leaves come forward and the softer edges recede nicely.
Well done for keeping at it
