11 - textured moulding - watercolors and ink
13 - curly ramp at the Guggenheim - I did it in pencil there but went over it with ink because it was so light and difficult to see.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #265 April 19 - 27 2012
Well, this is the third try. Can't think this am and keep closing the window. Actually it is pm so that is part of the problem, right?
Number 1, dirty - the Naugahyde throw under my easel. Done on Brushes on the iPad.
Joan, your smelly is pretty. I was thinking the opposite! Looks like you and Ai had so much fun! Wonderful. Amazing sketches, thanks so much for sharing your NY visit.
Ai, I love your concourse and that group of sketches. Your sketching will make such nice remembrances of your trip. Would love to meet you next time. I'll try to join you and Joan in NY!! Your sketches are so great, thanks for sharing the photos, too.
Paul, your arms length is clever and well done. We look forward to a photo from the anniversary trip. Congrats!
Irwin, nice selection of items. I bet the dark chocolate is scrumptious and your "steal" of the hand idea is great. The cap is great, are you a vet? Thank you! Loved and smelly are great, too.
"J", I like your selection for the still life so much. Great background. I saw it on your blog or fb, very nice.

Hockey Dad - very nice drawings
Paul - Clever drawing - very nice
Irwin - Very nice drawings - - beautiful rendering of the hand, arm, pencil
Jo - Oh yes, nice interpretation of dirty
Ey and Joan - WOW - you both have some super paintings of NY City - thank you for sharing the photos - glad you both had such a great time together - so nice to see the city again through the eyes of artists.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #265 April 19 - 27 2012
Thank you so much you all on your kind words of my sketching trip to NY with Joan.
Joan: Thanks for joining me. It is wonderful to see how you do your sketches as well. I love the Gugenheim indoor view. The perspective is super and I can feel how the crowd proceed in the museum walk way. Excellent light glow in the library and sweet vivid flower shop inside the Grand central. Nice squirt bottle.
Barbara: Thanks and sweet strawberry. Nice details in the hat, I can feel the contour.
Jo: Thanks. I hope I get to see you in my future trip. Its too bad that Iris had a hic-up with the hospital so I had to cancel some trips. I like how you have fun with the iPad. I saw so many pen stylus for iPad in America but don't know which one to buy and we don't have an iPad yet.... Your sketch comes out great and fun.
Hockey: Thanks.... Any New York day is considered cool for me as I come from the land of 85 degree or above everyday. So a Thai girl needs a hat at all time in NY....Your shading graphite works amazed me.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #265 April 19 - 27 2012
EP - Thanks. We should all meet and paint somewhere!
Jo - Thank you. Glad that you have that throw safely covering the floor.
Barbara - Thanks. It was fun to share the city with someone who appreciates sketching as much as I do. Doing the museums together was fun too. Nice curly part of the plant. Looks like a well used hat. I love those washy berries!!!
Ai - Thanks for making the trip up to NYC. We will have to get together again.
Kivrin - Thanks.
No new sketches. I'm still trying to get back to normal after a show over the weekend and the visit with Ai. Hope to sketch a bit today.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #265 April 19 - 27 2012
Thanks all for joining in...
Wish I had time (and energy) i'm sort of overstretching myself at the moment.
Irwin - Love your graphite sketches so detailed and well formed - I too have a penchant for Lindt . Your dog looks so cute great expression
Jeanne - wow you've relly gone for it!! i'm trying to work out what you are watching on TV - is that an old CSI with Speedle?
your arrangement is AWESOME - I love how you took stuff off the list and made into a work of art.
Ai - it's great that you could travel and meet other artists and some WC friends too and see their sketchbooks, that would be awesome and very memorable. ..and how you travelled to sketch for the list and your travel log - all great stuff - thanks so much for sharing. It must be such fun (and lest intimidating) being able to wc sketch in public with a fellow artist. You are so lucky. Quite an adventure
and JoanT
Well as above for Ai really - how great you could meet up! I am so you had such fun with my list and a fantastic day iout. You always do such wonderful plein air work. Thank you so much for showing us around NYC
Did people look at you both?
I want to meet someone from WC NOW!!!!!!!.. to go on a sketch hunt with... nobody lives anywhere near me though
Jo dirty from all that pastel dust? Lovely sketch
Tresgatos - i'm always amazed at how people can 'sketch' in wcs. I love thecolours esp the first ones which have a vintage look to them.
