Iris #1 in watercolor.

Hi, I have a new watercolor just finished.

It's 11"x14" on 140lb Arches cold press. W&N artists colors.

Started out as an experiment to try and loosen up. I just did a quick pencil outline to get the form, lightly established the contours and shading on the flower petals, then did a quick background to pop the flower out. I'm happy with it for the most part.
