Magpie ... sculpture?

Hi guys! I'm not even kind of a sculptor, so I don't really know what category this one falls under. It was completely on a whim; very temporary, as nothing was bound together and all the objects involved had to go "home" after their photo-shoot. That's also the reason for that eyesore piece of yellow string -- it's been tied to the shoehorn forever, and I felt bad removing it just for this! I guess I could've just tucked it under, and moved some of the other bits of garbage out of the photo, but like I said, on a whim! Also I was a bit distracted because halfway through one of my caged crickets escaped and ran past me...

Well this is very original, and beautiful! Is it glued on, or is it temporary?

Thanks! Just temporary, I had to put everything back where it came from when I was done. Particularly the stripey bit above the battery -- it's the grip from a perfectly usable pen that I hastily disassembled so I'd have enough black for the wing. Most of the rest came out of my junk drawer and my sewing-machine drawer.
