This morning I started yet another master copy and thought I'd collect these in one thread.
This time I went for this landscape by Frederic Church:
Here are the first two "block-in" stages (ArtRage3, oil brush 100%):

WIP3, switching from 100% sized brush to 50%. Also used the paint knife somewhat in the sky and water:

This is coming along nicely Mindbender- like the juicy use of paint and the way the image is starting to resolve

Have done two quick speedpaints in ArtRage for my blog.
First a Mona Lisa study after DaVinci in 30 mins, then a 15 min study after Monet. Here's what they look like:
("Color picked" colors from the reference in order to speed up the process)
