Door & courtyard WIP
Just started this yesterday. It has a ways to go, lots of darks need to be added to build up the shadows. I'm putting it here to motivate me to keep working & finish it in a timely manner! lol

Would love to hear comments/critiques. I'm learning to paint better values, so that is the main focus of what I'm working on here.

It's watercolors, size is 8" x 11", so quite small.

I did comment on this but appears WC gobbled it up somehow over the weekend. I really do like what you've done here with the door and courtyard scene. It may be small but does pack a punch. You handle the medium well.

Hmmm, was sure I posted here but it could be just my age showing or like Kay said, it could have been gobbled up. I remember now, because I saw the finished painting and it looked great.

If you had tilted the camera UP a bit, you wouldn't see a lot of Tiled are at the bottom. That would give you a chance to explore the roof tiles at the top a bit more. That's just me thinking.
