Mister Mystery
22x15 gouache, charcoal drawing of a mysterious handsome man nobody knows, on Arches 140 lb hot press paper collage (with 4 phone book pages) done this afternoon. After doing so many women on the collaged pages I was anxious to paint a hot guy with a cigarette and sunglasses. He could be James Bond or the man next door but definitely a hunk. I really didn't need my water bowls I was drooling too much

Yummy - get me a date, will you? LOL.
I love this one,  not too sure about his ear though, perhaps make a little smaller with a less fleshy lobe? Or more shadow? |

Hmmmnnn what if it's an electronic cigarette, like mine! I can see Shirl's point though, even a smoking gun would be accepted better than a cigarette! I think he looks cool though. |

Kay, I've been lurking in this forum (usually in the watercolor forum) and checking out these nice paintings and your technique. I'm a fan of ALL of your work.  I LOVE collage work and yours are really nice! Yes, indeed he's not hard on the eyes at all.

I fixed his left ear and smoothed out some other spots that were bothering me. He reminds me of my husband when we were dating holding that awful cigarette which I thought was quite sexy (thank God he quit years ago).  |

He is definitely easy on the eyes! I liked this before, but your changes really improved the piece. Your collage technique is so appealing to me.
