Wheeler Farm Hay Shed

Wheeler Farm is a historic working farm run by the local county parks and rec. department. I sketched this scene yesterday in pencil and decided to come back with the painting gear today;

Oil, 11 x 14 on panel

I had some time so I did a quick sketch of one of the cows in the pasture;

First time I ever attempted to paint an animal, let alone one that kept moving on me. oil, 8 x 10 on panel.

Nice challenge with the cow! I like it! Great barn as well.

Thanks Judy. I think I'm going to try working the barn up into a larger studio painting that will hopefully come out better.
