Shone...wonderful work...I agree with Ann about everything, including the coloring...either nothing or very subtle.

The male that's just out of Shone's picture, to the left, surely you can see it? It's a bit taller

Tufts of hair on the 'horns'. The males are bald from sparring. The females are too dainty to spar However, this could be one kept in captivity away from others and it could then be a male. Either way, it's awesome Shone!!

Patrick's right about the hair tufts, but I happen to know that their male is still young and the only male in the group of 4 giraffes - so he still has hair tufts. I confirmed that this was one of their females from the face pattern. I have photos of her. The spot that looks like a lower-case "r" that's below and left of her eye is what tipped me off.

I should have done my homework before calling her a boy. I realize now that he is a 'she'.

I have still not decided whether to color it or not. But other than that I am done.

But I went ahead and started coloring it as my strongly thinks that it will look better with colors. I hope it is not looking horrible now. But now that I have started coloring it I will try to go all the way and ruin it completely

Well you sure haven't ruined it. I like it even more now. Main thing that needs work is the edge of the mane as it looks stuck on the black, but I'm sure you have that in hand? It's just a case of working some black in between the edge of the hairs
