New Orleans Statue Practice

So we were on vacation in New Orleans and we went to the Houmas House Plantation and I snapped a picture of a statue bust that was of a official in their local history. I cannot find or remember who he was. Anybody around here know who he was and who the artist was who did his bust? It is so splendid! Thanks for any help!

Hi ks .. nice work. To me, he looks like the spitting image of Roger Daltry in 1970 ... but then I'm ancient ...

Sorry I'm no help in identifying him, but you did well on this, especially considering you had a "truly annoying scrap of paper" to work with.

Re: New Orleans Statue Practice

Thanks all. (LOL Ken -I said the same thing about Roger Daltrey) So if I do find out who he was (I could talk to the Houmas House directly couldn't I???) then I'll post my picture in the library.
Cheers
ks

Re: New Orleans Statue Practice

You could name the drawing "Pinball Wizard" ....

I know ... I'm bad ... but I come by it naturally ...
