Super cool giancarlo80....
A big thumbs up..
I wonder how you have given brown shades. does charcoal available in various colours?
And what is the size of the sketch?
I would be really greatful if you could post the WIPs of this or your next charcoal sketches...
I'm really amazed by the various gradients that I'm able to see in her... Do view my thread and give your comments... I would like to improve in my sketches..

vmak attached is response re: your post
vmak, loving art did not steer you wrong. I know what you want to accomplish and the only way to do it is to do it, get yourself a sketchpad or two and draw everywhere except while crossing the street. The most important thing is to relate marks (lines, shapes, spaces, shadows(values) everything you see; This is called relationships or measuring, whatever. Remember to work, work, work and you may get go on line and get some information on drawing. Sandra knows cause she went through it and you will as well. you're very young yet. Drawing is like breathing, I repeat WORK,WORK,WORK

It's a lovely pose and beautifully shaded. Your experience in working from life is obvious. I really like the neutral tone of that paper. What is the size and length of the pose?

Jamie; thanks so much. the paper is canson, the length of the pose is probably 45min. with a few breaks; the size of the fig is, head to toe is about 15 in; take an in or so.

Just lovely, effortless looking. I like what you said about the only way to do it is to do it. Wise words for us all.
