hahahaha - well happy belated b-day to her!
And excellent news about Gus - very happy to hear that the tumor was not cancerous.
And I'm sending many warm wishes your Pat as your husband goes through his surgery next week - hopefully the recovery time will be quick.

Gus is getting his walks. The open wound is on top of his foot so he is able to walk.

I am so happy to hear that Gus is going to be ok! And belated birthday wishes to your DW - does that mean "dear wife"? As a German I am not so familiar with these abbreviations...

Hi Ulla. When I first started here I had to ask about these abbreviations as well.
Yes, DW normally means Dear Wife but in my case it means Dominant Wife.

Re: The Oil Gusher April 2012
So glad to hear the great news about Gus. You must be very happy.
Thanks, Tam for the good wishes for my DH. It will be a stressful time, but he will feel so much better.
Our Open House was okay, not as good as last year. I'm sure the weather was a factor, sunny and warm. No sales here, but others had some which was good.
Another gorgeous day, so am going out to clean out the asparagus bed. I think some may even be coming up.
Pat

Thank you Pat. We'll keep your DH in our prayers.
Shril you have me stumped. My brain is getting old and less nimble then it used to be and even then that wasn't terribly nimble.
SWMBO????
Now if it were SWMBH: "Smart wife my better half"
Shirl the only thing I can come up with is "Sado Wife Masochistic Bondage Ordeal" ??? I wouldn't call my 52 years of marriage as bondage actually..

Re: The Oil Gusher April 2012
Hi everyone,
I have been lurking more than I ought to. Today I got a nice little piece done for the challenge, but I can't get it to upload from my tablet. Which is really annoying because I am generally happy with it.
On a different note I am starting to realize that maybe I am not as young as I used to be as I am now on muscle relaxants after overdoing it shovelling snow, wet snow ... very wet snow. This is really annoying I have pain as we speak, aggravated by working conditions for helping my daughter do homework and paint pastels with me. I'd do it again, but maybe in a better position.

Hi Rick, I hope you can upload your challenge piece. If that file is not a Jpeg can you import it to your computer and convert it to a Jpeg there???
Where do you live that you're still shoveling snow??

Yeah, I was hoping not to need to bounce around computers, so later today. I live in Canada and on Good Friday we had a serious dump of heavy wet snow. It is lightly snowing today, makes for a pretty walk with my daughter to her school. Local advice is not to plant your garden seedlings until May long weekend! I buy seeds first looking at days to maturity.
