Monthly MINIATURE Project -- April, 2012
Monthly Miniature Project -- April, 2012.
Hi Everyone,
The following are the Images for our Monthly Miniature Project, which will be changed on or near the 1st of every month.
Rules For The Monthly Miniature Project:-
1) Use one or more of the photos.
2) Credit the Photographer of the photo(s) in your first post. They are listed in the first post each month.
3) Drawings may be any size, up to 24 square inches (i.e 6"x4") -- the choice is yours. Use the images for ATCs/ACEOs etc. if you wish.
4) You may use any medium of your own choice.
5) Cropping, combining, adding, subtracting to the work is all allowed.
6) All drawings from these Images must be posted in this Thread -- do not start a new one.
7) Create a beautiful little piece of artwork for us all to enjoy, and most of all, have fun.

Val, thank you for hosting. I was exploring and ran across this challenge. I have a number of 4 by 6 inch canvases and have been wanting to use them. You've given me inspiration to give them a try.

Re: Monthly MINIATURE Project -- April, 2012
I used "Fisgard_Lighthouse" by Pippin. This is acrylic, 5 x 3 inches on a black background. I moved the boat and added a person and changed the lighting. Now looking at it I wish I had the boat crossing the horizon line. I think compositionally that would have been better.

vmrs - I love your crisp cool colors. I'd love the be that little figure on the shore...better yet.. I'd love the view of land from that boat! So pretty!
Sunface - Are those wet pencils? How'd you manage to get such blending? I think you have made a beautiful reproduction. Thank you for sharing!
