Wow...once again I thought I was looking at your reference photo then I scrolled down and realized it was the painting. You have amazing talent.

If I may ask without offending, how many hours does a painting like this take?

Im a lurker of the forums and i was looking at this.. i thought it was a picture of a real boat not a painting. This is unbeleivable sooooo good keep posting pics of yuor art i love it.. im a new painter been painting for about 5 days lol i cant paint anything realistic besides a tree.

Thank you for all the kind comments! The length of time differs a lot on these paintings due to variations in size and composition, but typically they are anywhere between 30-100 hours. It seems to all come down to how complicated the composed image becomes as to how long they take to do.

I just Love these two Tugs!! Magnificently rendered, again I'm in awe!!!
Love how Realistic you get the water and crisp sharp lines on the tugs.
Those buildings would have drove me crazy!

Do you work under a magnifier to get that detail?? I can't see how it is possible to do such fine artwork. I thought that it was the reference photo. It really is an amazing painting. DG
