WIP-Ice

This is a WIP in oils, its 50x50 cm= 19,5x19,5"

Water and ice - Xpost

Hi.

I would like c&c on this new painting, its 50x50 cm on canvas, its still wet
its nature/abstraction...

The things that bothers me the most is that this one seems flat and the waterfall is falling at an angle. This is a good start.

I like the feel of this (even though it makes me feel cold )
I'm wondering if that darkest blue section might be too big and dark? Perhaps break it up a bit with slightly lighter streaks or a lighter edge?
I especially like the softness of the form in the distance

Hi Lisa

I like what you have here, would the painting benefit from some contrast in the water in the foreground?, maybe adding further depth to the scene.
